Buttermilk Bread

This recipe is for a bread machine.

Ingredients (1.5lb loaf)

• 1 1/4C buttermilk (warm) - I usually add the butter to it and microwave for 30-60s
• 2T butter
• 3C flour (don't go more than 1C of whole wheat)
• 1 1/2T sugar
• 1t salt
• 1t yeast

For a Large (2lb loaf)

• 1 1/3C buttermilk (warm)
• 3T butter
• 3 1/2C flour
• 1 1/2T sugar
• 1 1/4t salt
• 1 1/4t yeast

Directions

This works well with regular or quick cycle depending on the type of yeast you use.
